Working with Top Tier Brands

Finalize your home’s exterior with a beautiful deck in the backyard. We go beyond just sidings and roofs, and will gladly install a new composite deck for you. We work with some great brands, such as Deckorator and Trex, to get you the deck you’ve always dreamed of.

Why We Choose Composite over Wood for our Decks

We choose to use composite decking over real wood for a number of reasons. Composite decking is manufactured with a blend of materials including wood fibers, plastics, and a cohesive bonding agent to hold it all together. Composite decking is longer lasting, easier to maintain, and is beautiful for years to come.

Deck Technologies That Give You the Best Results

We have found that Deckorator and Trex offer some of the best options for deck materials out there. Deckorator offers its basic wood plastic composite material that is affordable, low-maintenance, and has a timeless look that will last for years. Their more advanced Voyage Decking with Eovations™ technology is extremely durable, lightweight, stain and fade-resistant, and has enhanced traction.

Meanwhile, Trex has its four patented collections of composite decking that make it easy for our clients to get exactly the aesthetic they’re looking for. Choose from basic, earth, and natural tones that give a worn look like real lumber. And don’t forget about railings, gates, and fencing for your deck. The options are endless.

Railing Options

Many of our customers have opted for aluminum railings instead of vinyl or composite railings. Aluminum offers beautiful aesthetics and long-lasting durability. There are a  number of different style and color options, including a drink railing, and glass panels or cable railings for increased viewing.

First American Roofing was very professional from start to finish. When my insurance company didn’t want to admit my roof had hail damage, they stepped in and did all the needed work to prove it. Thanks First American!

First American Roofing and its salesman, Anthony, were excellent. Anthony was on time for all appointments and communicated very well with me throughout the process. He stayed involved and even inspected the job for me taking pictures, as I was out of town during the install. They do top quality work that exceeds all standards. I highly recommend them.

Every member of their amazing team was so professional, personal and attentive to all the details of this whole project. Each and every person I dealt with during this process was completely amazing. I am by no means an expert on any of the things they did but I was completely comfortable with everything they did. I would have them come back for any other project they could do here but I am sure there is nothing else left to do! I love my home again!

We met with Mark to determine the type of siding we wanted and appreciated his honesty and no-pressure attitude. They offered the Everlast line, which we ended up going with for its appearance and low maintenance. Zeke and his crew did a great job- high quality work and very clean. We also got the pleasure of meeting with the owner Dallas. He was honest and fair with us and had a genuine concern that the project went well.

First American really has an efficient system in place! They even have an excellent vinyl washing system that made my whole yard fence like new in no time. I will trust them again with my next home.

Mark came to our house and was very knowledgeable when explaining the issues for our roof and what they would offer. He offered 3 different options and took the time to explain everything to us so we understood what was going to happen. The project only took 2 days and the roofing team even worked while it was raining to make sure the roof got completed.  Everyone that I interacted with including Mark, Andrew, Scott and Ruben’s team were very professional and we will be going back for additional house projects.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long can I expect my deck project to last, from start to finish?

For a deck refinish, you can expect to have that done in two to four days. A new deck build will take five to eight days, plus time to obtain permits. So overall, in under two weeks, you can have the deck you’ve always wanted!

What are the benefits of having a composite wood deck?

Manufactured composite wood is made from durable materials that look just like the real thing, but require far less maintenance and upkeep and lasts for a long time. They won’t fade or splinter, and you can easily match the same aesthetic as you would get with real wood, for far less cost.

How can I maintain my deck’s condition over time?

If you do have a real wood deck, make sure you clean it thoroughly each year, with a high-quality deck cleaner. Replace split or broken boards when you notice them. Don’t overdo it with high-pressure washes that can strip your paint and sealant. Most stain manufacturers recommend re-staining the deck at most every three years. For composite decking, make sure you sweep and clean it annually. Don’t use harsh chemicals or salts on it, but if you do clean them thoroughly afterward. Don’t let your downspouts empty onto your deck. This will make the deck material wear away over time. Lastly, keep it well ventilated and watch for pooling water or snowmelt, and get those areas repaired.
