Experienced Local Roofing Professionals

The team at First American Roofing and Siding ahears to a strict process to ensure that each job is completed properly and to the specifications of our customers. To take you through our process, here are the key steps we complete on each roofing job:

Inspection: We always try to make an inspection appointment with you present whenever possible. This allows us to understand your wants and needs more thoroughly and to let us get inside the home for an attic inspection to check for proper ventilation and insulation.

Protecting the siding and plants when putting on the new shingles.

Inspection Follow-Up: If you are not able to make an inspection appointment, our sales staff will contact you after the inspection to inform you of their findings and ask any questions that may allow them to properly bid your project the first time. At this time we will try and set up a proposal appointment with you, either at your home or our office.

Proposal Meeting: At the proposal appointment we will discuss the products we recommend using, explain the variances between the different proposals, and discuss other things like insurance, OSHA regulations, to field any questions, and our schedule, just to name a few.

Preliminary Production/Finalizing/Scheduling: Once you have decided to have First American Roofing & Siding as your contractor, your salesman will meet with you to take care of finalizing/making any adjustments to the contract, getting your signature for any required permits, choosing a color, scheduling a date for production, etc.

Production: One of our crews of 6, including a foreman and assistant foreman, will arrive between 7:00-9:00AM weather permitting. They will start with introducing themselves, placing the dump trailer, laying out protection for landscaping and the exterior of your home, setting up safety protection, etc. They will then begin tearing off all roofing materials down to the decking. If any damaged/rotted decking is found at that time we will get your approval prior to repairing that area.

Materials are usually delivered between 10:00-11:00AM. In most cases our crew can have your roof installed before sunset the same day. Your salesman will usually stop in a few times throughout the day to check on the progress of your project.

Completion/Walk-Around/Re-inspection: Your salesman will contact you to set up a re-inspection of the completed roof and to complete a walk-around with you of the property to ensure you are completely satisfied. If your project is an insurance claim, we will then help you file all the necessary paperwork requested by your insurance company and/or mortgage lender.
